The lots offered for sale are photographed and described on our website and in the catalog. For each lot, we generally indicate two prices, corresponding to its minimum and maximum valuation. Do not hesitate to request photographic condition reports and additional information on the lots you are interested.

Only registered users are eligible to participate in the auction. You can register via our website, external platforms, or email. You will be asked to provide identification documents and, if applicable, a credit card. Only after verification of the documentation is the user approved and it is then possible to leave written offers or participate in the auction.

To participate in the auctions, once your registration is complete and approved, simply click the "Place a Bid" button to place a higher bid on the lot currently being offered by the auctioneer. Alternatively, you can leave a maximum bid before the auction, which will be automatically placed.

For some live web auctions, you can also submit written bids via email, and the auctioneer will follow your maximum bid for you, staying below your maximum. You can also participate by phone and place live bids via phone call with our operator.

Items are sold to the highest bidder; the auctioneer will strike the hammer and consider the highest bid accepted. During timed auctions, the highest final bid will be the winning one. At this point, the bidder with the highest final bid becomes the new owner of the item.

The final price to be paid in the event of an award is made up of the hammer price plus the auction fee: the commissions owed to Zaphira for its intermediation and auctions services. Auction fees are calculated as a variable percentage of the hammer price:
- 19% (VAT included) on the portion of the hammer price up to €200,000
- 15% (VAT included) on the portion from €200,000 to €1,000,000
- 10% (VAT included) on the portion exceeding €1,000,000

At the end of the auction, an invoice will be automatically sent by email with all the instructions. Payment for the purchased items must be made within 5 days of receiving the purchase invoice. The following payment methods are accepted: Bank Transfer and Credit Card.

After receiving the payment, the customer can take advantage of a delivery service that is always in charge the buyer (and never included). This service includes shipping, packaging, and insurance, via one of our partner couriers. The service is activated upon approval of the quote by the customer and added to the invoice or paid directly to the shipping company. (Zaphira assumes no responsibility for any incidents relating to transport, for which the buyer must contact the carrier directly.)

Export and customs fees will always be borne by the buyer and settled directly with the shipping company. Please note that there will always be customs fees on all lots exported outside the EU.

Item descriptions are merely opinions. Any defects will be noted in the text or images, but the bidder agrees to request further information and verify the item's condition before accepting the bid. Complaints and cancellation requests will be considered only if justified. Bidding errors will not be accepted, only serious description errors, falsified items, or items that do not conform to their description are considered as claiming valid requests. In any case, any dispute must be made within 14 days of receiving the item. Zaphira may, at its discretion, cancel the sale only if the reason is acceptable.
